About Us
Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in
Christ Jesus
(Philippians 4:6-7)

Looking for a change and a chance to shape the future of the Church?
Center Grove United Methodist Church is actively undergoing revitalization and is seeking energetic followers of Christ to help shape the future of the church. We are interested in exploring all worship options as we seek to be the church for the people of the community and to be an instrument of the light of Christ into the world. We pray for musicians (contemporary or traditional), energetic followers with ideas, those who seek Christ, and those who wish to be on the ground level of creating “the new church” for the community. We seek to be a church in mission and a church that is vital to the community. We desire to nurture believers and make new disciples.
We remain open to all ideas in this period of transformational and renewal. If you feel called to be part of this change, please contact Rev. Alan Thompson at 704/791-2907 or athompson@wnccumc.net or amt6973@gmail.com
Center Grove United Methodist is located at 8055 Hwy 200, Midland, NC in Cabarrus County. Established in the late 1800’s, the church has been a part of the community for many years. We now seek to grow in new ways in the face of change in the community. We desire to be a reflection of the community into the church. |
